recently i’ve fallen… hard. i’ve cut for the past three days. i don’t feel like doing anything but sleeping. i’ve had no energy, thus resulting in me being crappy at work. i’ve wanted to just quit my job because i can’t do it. (because of this). i’m too quick to anger because i’m easily irritated……

My cousin, Ben, has Cystic Fibrosis. Its a lung disease that slowly eats away at his lungs. He is now 22, and doctors said he would only live to about 20 when he was born. He is always in and out of the hospital, right now he is in. He is such a strong man in God. And i know God has a plan for him. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank You for Your love. Thank You that You are for sin the double cure. Help us to never take Your grace for granted, and may we never cease to give You thanks and praise for what You have done for us.

Please pray for my friend Liz’s dad Clive, who just found out he has esophageal cancer. They’re trying to stay positive but I know she’s scared. She’s a good person but a bit delicate - I’m afraid she won’t handle this very well. Thanks.

I just got an e-mail from my Aunt who organizes groups at a Christian camp:
Satan has attacked our ministry and our community in several ways this summer and yesterday he took the lives of two young men. Alex and Eli both died in a drowning accident in Lake Superior yesterday afternoon. Alex was very involved in our ministry and was wholly devoted to Jesus Christ. Eli was here with his youth group on a mission trip. They guys went to Marquette yesterday and got caught in an undertow in the lake.
Please, please, please engage in the battle with us through prayer. Pray that God uses this for His glory, that Jesus Christ is victorious in the lives of those in our community. Pray that God will bind Satan from using this to discourage and defeat. He is the victor, our warrior. Pray for the students/friends who were with Alex and trying to rescue him. Pray that God strengthens them to rise above the guilt and lies Satan will try to feed them. We are convinced that God is doing a mighty work and we have seen incredible transformation in several students lives and this is Satan’s way of trying to steal, kill, and destroy what God is doing. Pray also for our ministry staff as we provide counseling, prayer, worship, and comfort to students, family, and friends. Thank you so much for your prayers and friendship.This is really a rough unexpected tragedy and I’m sure the families are struggling with understanding God’s plan in all of this. Would you pray with me? Our prayers our powerful and effective!

My co-worker’s friend’s daughter was in this wreck last night and had to be airlifted to Reno where she underwent surgery this morning and is currently stable. She was pretty bashed up, broken cheek, hematoma on the brain and the doctors will not be able to move her for 7-10 days.
Please keep Rebecca & the rest of the survivors, and the families of those who didn’t make it in your thoughts and prayers.
